Beautiful Evenings~

I am SO enjoying this weather.....it looks like it will start to get hot again, but this sure gave me a taste of and a hankering for Fall!! :)
Tonight Dan took us out for supper....a rare treat these days!! We ate Mexican then walked down to the trail in town and enjoyed the trail and its surroundings!

The Hibiscus is my FAVORITE flower! :)

Glad that Dan could take a break from the stress of work and school and just hang out with the kids and I. This is a rare treat....one that hopefully we can get used to being the "norm" in another year!! :)

The train~

Danny....counting down the days till he becomes a teenager! :) He has grown 3" in the past year and I have a feeling that's only the start!

Tamara~ my sweet daughter...she has grown 3 1/2" in the past year!! :O I couldn't believe she grew that much more than Danny did, but I guess they say girls have their growth spurt earlier. She says she feels like she is growing up too fast....and I have to agree!! ;)

Dragonfly on the telephone line~

I had both the kids to the dentist today for cleanings and Danny is cavity free and Tamara has one small one. I feel good about that since neither of them have been to the dentist in quite awhile!
We will go back next week to have the cavity filled and get some of Danny's back teeth sealed.

Both the kids have a "cross bite" and Dr. Bontrager recommended that Danny see an Orthodontist. He said Tamara may be able to fix her problem herself by pushing on her problem tooth often with a popsicle stick!?? :O Hey, if it saves us $$ :)

Tomorrow is the first day in a long while that we don't have anything planned away from the house! Yipppeee!!! Hope to get school going early and then do some cleaning and wash. We plan to spend most of the day Saturday at events in town....
Free airplane rides at the local airport....then an archeology event at the Pioneer Settlement! Looks like a long, but fun day! :)
