GEMS Ladies Tea Fundraiser

Thanks again to Candice Nissley for another successful Ladies Tea Fundraiser to benefit GEMS prison ministry! This year was so beautiful as were the previous years!!

I enjoyed my role at the welcome table! :)

This tea set was raffled off....very pretty!

 The tea begins....

Dan helped all day in the kitchen. Here they were getting the plates of food ready for the servers to take out to the tables.

Speaker, Cindy Mullett and her traveling friend, Rachel Raber. :)

Our meal consisted of  hors d'oeuvres (fruit, fruit dip and crepes), salad, chicken pecan quiche and then a dessert of cheesecake! It was all so tasty!

Rachel Raber won the door prize...a beautiful embroidered apron!

Brianna Rhodes was our violinist! She has filled this role many years and does a beautiful job!

A lovely cake that was donated for the silent auction. If I remember right, it sold for over $70!

Even the bathrooms were royally decorated!! :)

Chaplain Darbyshire and Chaplain Henry serving up the desserts!

There was a photo booth with dress up clothes! :)

I was pleased to share a table with my good friend, Marlene Peachey and her daughters! :)

Tamara and I

Cindy Mullett shared a beautiful testimony of God's grace in their families lives as they have been through a hard journey of sickness, cancer and death!
